Think you might be the beneficiary of some long lost relative and due some money?
Think a parent, who is no longer mentally capable, has funds due him or her that nobody knows about?
This is another financial way that the internet can help you out. There are several missing money sites available where you can search for free. Give it a try. Lots of people have found money due them this way.
Here are four of them:
unclaimed funds
FDIC
foundmoney
missingmoney
Be sure to search with variations on a name. Use the first initial, only, for a first name. If a last name ends in an ‘s’, leave it off. Some names have a ‘y’ or ‘ie’ at the end. Try as many different combinations as you can think of.
This does work. I found money due to my Dad that he didn’t know about. Wasn’t a lot but sure was better than nothing.

Very interesting article and show on dateline msnbc. I found a lot more info at Dateline msnbc.com You might be rich. I believe the show will be a big success.
I had a claim which was hard to find and finally realized it had not been turned over to the government yet. I was able to find my account (pre-escheat) by using http://www.unclaimedmoney.net I have not found any site that has more info if you need help.
